For this post, I’ll be introducing the Red Destined Warrior. One of my kit bash projects based on Blue Destiny Unit 01. Mostly the colors were from inspiration of both Char Aznable’s red color theme and the name from Mejin Kawaguchi’s Gunpla Red Warrior.
This was one of my projects that took a while to get both arms to have the pieces of Blue Destiny to fit and backpack from Gundam Bael to be modified with the original backpack of Unit 01 with GN drive from Build Divers of Gundam 00 Diver parts. For the shoulders, I thought it will be awesome to use the spare Barbatos Gundam to look more fitting for meele attacks. The other tricky part was carefully combining the sword holder from Bael Gundam onto the back skirt of Unit 01. I had to put a an opening in order to use thin cement glue to fuse together. It took me a while to make it perfect to look balance.
Other than that, this kit is still one of my favorite finished kit bash model.
